Kawasaki has reintroduced the Versys-X 300 ADV in India. The KTM 390 Adventure rival is priced at Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be imported via the CBU route.
The Versys-X 300 hasn’t changed much since the last time it was on sale in India. The bike has the same design featuring a triangular headlamp, a tall windscreen, a stepped seat with a provision to mount a top box and an upswept exhaust. The 2025 edition comes with refreshed graphics and a new 2-tone blue and white colour option.
Kawasaki has upgraded the 296cc parallel-twin engine, though. It now complies with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. It’s the same liquid-cooled unit that powers the Ninja 300 and produces 39 BHP and 26 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch.
The Versys-X 300 is equipped with a 41 mm telescopic fork in the front with 130 mm of travel and a mono-shock with 148 mm of travel at the back. The bike rides on wirespoke wheels with a 19-inch rim in the front and a 17-inch rim at the back.
The ADV comes with features like a semi-digital instrument console and dual-channel ABS.
