Mercedes-Benz India has launched AMG GT S at a price of Rs. 2.40 Crore ex-showroom Delhi, with the car being revealed by five-time German touring car championship (DTM) winner Bernd Schneider.

Powering the AMG GT S is a 4.0L, V8 bi-turbo engine that produces 503 BHP and 650 Nm of torque. The supercar features an AMG Performance steering wheel, electronic AMG rear axle differential lock, AMG ride control sport suspension (with the "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport Plus" modes), AMG performance seats and AMG speed sensitive hydraulic steering.

On the safety front, the AMG GT S comes equipped with an AMG high-performance composite braking system, adaptive brake lights, PRE-SAFE, automatic child seat recognition, 3 Stage ESP and 8 airbags.
