Maruti Suzuki gets permission to begin production in Manesar

Maruti Suzuki has received permission from the government to begin production at its Manesar facility in Gurugram.

Manesar is said to be a non-containment zone. The government has allowed only a single shift and has recommended only 600 employees to work during the lockdown period. Only the activities approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs can take place during the lockdown period.

Earlier this month, we reported that Maruti had added disinfecting tunnels at the Manesar plant.
