Maruti Ciaz spotted testing with DRLs and racing stripes

Earlier this year, Maruti Suzuki was testing a new variant of the Ciaz sedan. It had a body kit with more aggressive bumpers, side skirts, a boot-mounted rear spoiler and matte-finished alloy wheels. The car was revealed at the Bangkok Motor Show as the Ciaz Aero.

Now another new version of the Ciaz has been spotted testing at the company's plant. This version has a racing stripe on its bonnet and LED daytime running lights integrated in its bumper, just below the headlamp clusters.

This could mean that Maruti is preparing a special edition variant of the Ciaz or just testing some accessories for the car. Maruti might even incorporate these changes into the Aero (or RS) when it is launched in India. More details on the vehicle are awaited.

The Ciaz is Maruti's biggest sedan on sale at the moment. It is the second best seller in the C2 segment, slotting behind the Honda City.
