Management changes at Isuzu Motors India

Isuzu Motors India (IMI) has announced changes in its management.

From April 1, 2015, Mr. Naohiro Yamaguchi, General Manager, LCV Sales Project Dept. at Isuzu Japan, has taken over as Managing Director of the company and will be responsible for the overall operations of the company. Mr. Naohiro Yamaguchi was responsible for the LCV sales project at Isuzu, Japan. In his previous role, Mr. Yamaguchi was responsible for overseas sales operations and business development at Isuzu Motors in Japan, Thailand and Europe.

Mr. Hiroyasu Miura, Executive Officer and Executive in-charge of the Manufacturing Engineering Planning Dept, Vehicle Manufacturing and New Business Development at Isuzu Japan, is the new chairman of IMI. He will be responsible for product engineering and development. He has experience in the areas of vehicle production and quality control in Japan and Thailand with a global approach.

Mr. Takashi Kikuchi has taken over as President of Isuzu, Thailand and also assume the role of Senior Executive Officer at Isuzu, Japan. He will continue as the part-time board member at IMI. Mr. Kikuchi has played a major role in setting up IMI. His achievements include the tie-up with Hindustan Motors for the assembly of CKDs, construction of the new IMI manufacturing plant at SriCity, in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh, tie-ups with several component suppliers and expanding the company's dealership network.

Mr. Taizo Nakahigashi, Senior Vice President at Isuzu Motors India has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer at Isuzu Hicom Malaysia.
