Mahindra XUV500 facelift spotted testing

Recently, an updated version of the Mahindra XUV500 was spotted testing in Chennai. The image of the car showed a lightly camouflaged tailgate. Now, the vehicle has been spotted and this time the image shows the front end of the car.

Going by the area camouflaged, the XUV500 is likely to get tweaks to the grille, bumper and hood. On the inside, the dashboard of the vehicle is expected to get a makeover. There are rumours that the XUV500's diesel engine could be tuned for more power. The possibility of a petrol power plant cannot be ruled out either. Mahindra has also been working on hybrid and automatic versions of the vehicle.

The XUV500 has been a consistent seller for Mahindra, regularly averaging more than 2,500 units a month. With the updates, the manufacturer will hope to increase the XUV500's appeal even further.
