Mahindra Digisense launched for Jeeto and Imperio LCVs

Last month, Mahindra had introduced a connected vehicle platform named Digisense, which is essentially a cloud-based service that aims to connect all Mahindra vehicles with owners, fleet operators, drivers, dealers, and service teams. Now, the company has launched the service for two of its small commercial vehicles - the Jeeto and Imperio.

The Digisense platform will be available only in the X7 16 (BS4) variant of the Jeeto, and SC VX and DC VX variants of the Imperio. It will be available as a subscription-based service, though Mahindra is offering 1 year free subscription for its customers, as part of an invitation offer. After that, customers will be required to pay Rs. 5,000 to opt for Digisense in the Jeeto, and Rs. 6,000 in the Imperio.

Key features of the Digisense platform include real time tracking of the vehicle, history route logs, remote engine diagnosis, and breakdown assistance. Owners can also control the travel range of vehicle by dedicating a specific region for operation. This ensures that the driver doesn't violate the pre-decided routes. Moreover, the owners can even get SMS alerts in case the driver leaves the route or overspeeds.

Mahindra plans to roll out the Digisense platform for all its vehicles.
