Kumar Galhotra replaces Raj Nair at Ford North America

Kumar Galhotra has been named as the Group Vice President and President, Ford North America. Galhotra replaces Raj Nair who was recently ousted from the post following an internal investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour. Jim Hackett, Ford’s President and CEO made the announcement.

Kumar Galhotra, 52, has been part of Ford for the past 29 years. He will be heading Ford's North American business and will report to Jim Farley, Executive Vice President and President, Global Markets. He will take charge from March 1, 2018.

Mr. Galhotra was the head of the Lincoln Motor Company since 2014. He will be succeeded by Joy Falotico, who will take over as Group Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Lincoln Motor Company. Falotico has been Group Vice President and Chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Credit Company. David McClelland has been named as his successor.

Stuart Rowley has been appointed as Vice President and COO, Ford North America. He will be reporting to Kumar Galhotra. He was serving as Vice President, Strategy at Ford Motor Company. John Lawler replaces Rowley and will take charge as Vice President, Strategy. He along with McClelland will report to Bob Shanks, Executive Vice President and CFO.

Besides, Cathy O'Callaghan has been appointed as Vice President and Corporate Controller and CFO, Global Markets. She succeeds Lawler and will also report to Bob Shanks. She will take over from June 1, 2018.
