Kia Sonet interior spied

A new spy image of the Kia Sonet gives us a peek into the sub-4 meter SUVs interior.

The car seen in this image is the GT Line trim and has an all-black interior. The GT Line badge can be seen on the flat-bottom steering wheel, which looks similar to the one in the Seltos. The GT Line also gets red contrast stitching. The digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment are housed within a single unit. It also gets cruise control and has an engine start / stop button.

Reports suggest that the Sonet GT Line will be offered in GTX and GTX Plus variants and will be powered by a 1.0-litre, turbo petrol engine. This engine is also available in the Hyundai Venue and produces 118 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque @ 2,500-4,000 rpm. It is likely to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Note that the car seen in this image is equipped with an automatic transmission.

It has also been reported that the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment will get Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Uvo Connect features. Instead of a Bose audio system, the Sonet could get an Arkamys unit.

The Kia Sonet will be unveiled on August 7, 2020.
