JK Tyre appoints Narain Karthikeyan as brand ambassador

In 2005, Karthikeyan became the first racing driver from India to race in Formula 1.

JK Tyre has roped in India's first Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan as their brand ambassador.

In 2005, Karthikeyan became the first racing driver from India to race in Formula 1. He made his debut at the 2005 Australian GP. During his stint in F1, Narain competed in 46 races for Jordan and HRT. His last F1 race was the 2012 Brazilian GP.

Since then, he has competed in the A1GP, Le Mans Series, British F3, World Series by Nissan, AutoGP, Formula Asia, British Formula Ford and Open Series.
