Jeep Renegade facelift leaked online

Spy images of the upcoming Jeep Renegade facelift had surfaced recently. Now, a few more images are doing the rounds of social media revealing a lot more than what we had seen earlier.

In one of the images, you can see the updated front end of the Renegade. The SUV gets LED headlights that seem to have been carried over from the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. The 7-slat grille has chrome highlights, while the front fascia appears to be painted grey. The front bumper has been redesigned such that the indicators are now placed on either side, while the circular fog lamps flank the lower grille. The front bumper has integrated air dams and is finished in a monotone theme.

The second image shows the centre console of the new Renegade. The new model is expected to get a larger infotainment screen placed within a rugged plastic frame.

The Renegade in its refreshed avatar is likely to hit the Indian shores around 2019. The India-spec Renegade is expected to come with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and may also be offered with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. It will take on the Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur and the likes.
