Jaguar F-Pace facelift unveiled; gets plug-in hybrid option

F-Pace facelift comes with new tech and mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Jaguar has revealed the F-Pace facelift. The updated model will go on sale in international markets later this year.

The updated F-Pace gets new LED headlamps and slimmer tail lamp clusters, redesigned front and rear bumpers and a revised front grille.

On the inside, the SUV gets an all-new dashboard with a 11.4-inch touchscreen head-unit with the new Pivi Pro infotainment system which is compatible with over-the-air updates. The car gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a new steering wheel and gear selector, wireless phone charger and a cabin air ioniser.

The F-Pace facelift comes with six powertrain options equipped with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The new P400e plug-in hybrid uses a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine and an electric motor. It produces 398 BHP. It has an all-electric range of 53 km.

The base variants are powered by a new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 247 BHP. A new 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder engine equipped with a turbocharger and an electric supercharger puts out 395 BHP. The SUV also comes with 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder diesel engines with mild-hybrid systems.
