The V-Cross was also offered with a 1.9-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produced 148 BHP and 350 Nm and was paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The BS6-compliant D-Max V-Cross is likely to be powered by a 1.9-litre turbocharged diesel engine. It is expected to get all-wheel drive and a low-range gearbox option.

Apart from the BS6-compliant engine, the car is not expected to get any changes.
