Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 1.9L 4x4 AT spied

New spy images of the updated Isuzu D-Max V-Cross have surfaced online. The images show the test vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive system. The vehicle is reportedly powered by a 1.9-litre BS-VI compliant diesel engine, while the gearbox is a 6-speed unit.

The new D-Max V-Cross is likely to get revised headlamp clusters with integrated daytime running lights, redesigned front grille and bumper, new tail lights, side steps and dual-tone alloy wheels. This particular test mule reportedly has new 'Prestige' badge indicating that this could be a higher variant.

The vehicle also has leather seats and a black dashboard carried over from the MU-X, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and rear view camera. The gear lever has silver inserts and gloss black trim around the base. A silver rotary dial for the four-wheel drive system can also be seen in the images.

The test mule was reportedly powered by a 1.9-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine, which is believed to be the same unit that is available in the D-Max V-Cross sold in the UK. It produces 162 BHP and 360 Nm of torque.
