Interiors of the next-gen Figo spied

Test mules of the next-gen Ford Figo and Figo sedan have been spotted several times in the recent past. Now, we have some pictures of its interiors too.

The car spotted seems to sport a black and grey interior theme. It features a similar dashboard layout like the Fiesta and EcoSport. The centre console's design is unconventional and protrudes out like the Fiesta. It is finished in piano black with a plethora of buttons for stereo and bluetooth telephone controls. Just above the centre console is what appears to be a docking area for a smart phone. This particular feature will be a segment first and it gives an impression of a pop-out infotainment screen from much expensive premium cars.

The side air-con vents appear to be surrounded by a chrome ring to add a premium touch to the cabin. This particular model seems to be the range topping variant as it is equipped with dual airbags, bluetooth stereo and electric ORVMs. Ford might offer the SYNC voice command system too as well as AppLink (smartphone App integration) and Emergency Assistance.

The door handles seem to be lifted from the current gen Figo while the dials seem to be lifted from the EcoSport with blue needles.

The Figo twins are likely to replace the Figo hatchback and the Classic sedan. They will be manufactured at Ford's Sanand plant, in Gujarat.
