Intents Go navigation app provides pothole, speed bump alerts

Intents Go is a new navigation app that offers alerts for potholes and speed bumps on the road.

Intents Go uses maps by Here Technologies. Speed bumps, potholes or broken patches of road are marked in red on the map. The technology uses smartphone sensors to map the road conditions.

The data is generated via a 2.4 lakh strong community of Scouts that include cab drivers, truckers, delivery agents and other people. So far, they've mapped 20 lakh km and over 1.95 lakh potholes. Around 9,000 new potholes and speed bumps are identified daily and it is found that around 4,500 potholes or road patches are repaired daily.

The beta version of the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
