Indian Scout Sixty launched in India at Rs. 11.99 lakh

The Indian Scout Sixty was unveiled in November 2015 at EICMA 2015. The motorcycle has now been officially launched in India at a price of Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Scout Sixty shares its chassis, suspension and brakes with the bigger Scout. The bike features a black seat, black frame and black wheels and is compatible with more than 200 accessories which are available for the Indian Scout. Some of the accessories include saddlebags, wire wheels and quick release windscreens among others.

The Scout Sixty is powered by a 999cc, liquid cooled, four-valve, V-Twin engine that develops 77 BHP and 88 Nm of torque at 5,800 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The regular Scout has a 1,131 cc, V-twin engine that puts out about 99 BHP and 97.7 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The bike offers a seat height of 64.3 cm and is available in three colours - Thunder Black, Red and Pearl White.

Deliveries of the Scout Sixty will commence in July 2016.
