Hyundai's all-new sedan will be called Aura

Hyundai has announced the name of its all-new sedan. It will be called Aura.

While Hyundai hasn't disclosed any details about the new sedan, it could be the name given to the next-generation Xcent compact sedan.

The new Hyundai Aura is likely to be based on the Grand i10 NIOS and could feature a similar front fascia. It is likely to get new wraparound tail lights at the rear and could be offered in a dual-tone exterior.

The Aura is likely to come with the same engine options as the Grand i10 NIOS. These could include a a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm @ 4,000 rpm and a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 74 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm @ 1,750-2,250 rpm.
