Hyundai to launch 26 new models in India by 2030

The first strong hybrid vehicle is likely to be launched as early as September 2025.

Hyundai has announced its product plans for the next 5 years. The carmaker plans to launch over 26 models in India by the end of this decade.

Hyundai plans to roll out 6 EVs and 20 ICE models by FY2030. Hybrid models are also in the pipeline, with the first strong hybrid vehicle likely to be launched as early as September 2025.

Hyundai Motor India MD & CEO Unsoo Kim said, "We are excited to announce an aggressive launch pipeline of 26 products (including refreshments) by FY2030, comprising 20 ICE and 6 EVs. Additionally, we shall be introducing new eco-friendly powertrains like hybrids. We believe that this aggressive launch pipeline, coupled with our upcoming Pune plant capacity, will give us great impetus to continue our growth story in India."

Hyundai is set to commence production at its Talegaon plant near Pune by Q3 2026. The new facility will support the arrival of new models, including hybrids.

Hyundai India reported a 4% drop in its consolidated profit after tax in the fourth quarter ended on March 31, 2025. It posted a profit of Rs 1,614 crore, down from Rs 1,677 crore in the January-March period of 2023-24. Total revenue increased from Rs 17,671 crore to Rs 17,940 crore. 

In Q4, Hyundai sold 1,53,550 units, down from 1,60,317 units in the same period of FY2024. However, exports rose from 33,400 units to 38,100 units in Q4 of FY2025.
