Hyundai Aura design sketches revealed

Hyundai has released design sketches of the new Aura compact sedan. The car is scheduled to be unveiled on December 19, 2019.

As per the renderings, the new Aura is likely to get wraparound headlamp clusters and a grille that looks similar to the one on the Grand i10 NIOS. It houses a pair of V-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has a wide air dam and triangular pods on either side. At the rear, the new Aura is likely to get wraparound tail lights with C-shaped brake lights and chrome strip in the centre. The car has blacked-out B and C-pillars as well as a dual-tone rear bumper.

The Aura is likely to come with the same engine options as the Grand i10 NIOS. These could include a a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm @ 4,000 rpm and a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 74 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm @ 1,750-2,250 rpm.
