Hyundai Alcazar bookings officially open in India

Hyundai has started accepting bookings for the upcoming Alcazar. Bookings can be made online or at Hyundai dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs. 25,000.

The Alcazar is based on the Creta. It has a wheelbase of 2,760 mm, which is 150 mm more than the 5-seater Creta. The SUV is available in 6-seat and 7-seat configurations. The former gets separate captain seats in the second row, while the third row of seats can recline and can also be folded flat for extra luggage space.

The vehicle comes equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 8-way power adjustable driver seat, wireless charging, automatic climate control among others.

The Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 157 BHP / 192 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 113 BHP / 250 Nm. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with three drive modes - Comfort, Eco and Sport as well as three traction modes - Snow, Sand, and Mud.
