All-electric Mini Countryman bookings open in India

The Mini Countryman Electric uses a 64.7 kWh battery offering a range of 433-461 km depending on the variant.

Mini has started accepting pre-bookings for the all-electric Countryman in India.

The Mini Countryman Electric made its global debut in September last year. It shares its underpinnings with the BMW iX1. The electric SUV has an octagonal grille, reprofiled LED headlamps and redesigned taillights.

The Countryman Electric has a minimalistic interior with a circular touchscreen infotainment system in the centre.

In the global market, the Countryman Electric comes in two variants: E and SE ALL4. Both variants come with a 64.7 kWh battery pack. The base variant has a single electric motor which makes 204 BHP and 250 Nm, while the SE trim has dual electric motors that produce 313 BHP and 493 Nm. The E trim offers 461 km of range, while the SE can cover 433 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).

The Countryman Electric is equipped with several driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control and lane centering. The optional Driver Assistance Professional Package enables hands-free driving at up to 59.5 km/h.
