Fully-faired Suzuki Gixxer SLK spied without camouflage

A test mule of the fully-faired version of the Suzuki Gixxer motorcycle has been spotted once again. This time, the bike has been seen without any camouflage.

Media reports suggest that the bike will be called Gixxer SLK. Painted in blue, it has a headlamp unit similar in design to the one of the Hayabusa. The exhaust is carried over from the Gixxer and the bike does not have a split seat.

The Gixxer SLK is expected to use the Gixxer's 155 cc, single-cylinder, carburetted engine that develops 14.6 bhp @ 8000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque @ 6000 rpm. It will also feature the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, which the company claims, enhances fuel efficiency. The 5-speed gearbox from the Gixxer is also likely to be carried over. Stopping power is provided by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear.

The Gixxer SLK is Suzuki's rival for the Yamaha Fazer. There is no official word from the company about the launch of the bike. However, Gaadiwaadi claims that it will be introduced into the market next month.
