An air of excitement and disappointment looms over the Indian motoring enthusiasts’ mind as Ford has finally unveiled the iconic Mustang, but the car will only be launched in Q2 2016. This is the first generation of the Mustang to feature a right-hand drive configuration.

While the price of the muscle car is still unknown, Ford has confirmed that the car will be offered with a 5.0L V8 under the bonnet that makes over 420 horsepower and 529 Nm of torque, mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The feature list includes Ford’s SYNC 2 connectivity system with voice command support, navigation, push button start, passive keyless entry, power folding mirrors, a rake and reach adjustable steering wheel and a rear camera.

The car also gets selectable drive modes (SDM) where drivers can choose between the normal, snow/wet, sport and track modes to adjust the steering effort, engine response, and transmission & electronic stability control settings.
