Ferrari has unveiled the limited-edition 812 Competizione and Competizione A models. The special edition models are based on the 812 Superfast and 812 GTS, respectively.

Both models will be available in limited numbers, with the Competizione having a production run of 999 units and the Competizione A restricted to 599 units.

The Ferrari 812 Competizione and Competizione A models come with a number of fresh design elements and changes. These include a revised front bumper and splitter, a carbon fibre blade running across the bonnet, a built-in spoiler, a large diffuser and rectangular exhaust tips positioned at the edges of the diffuser. The 812 Competizione gets a fastback styling with an aluminium structure replacing the rear glass window.

The Ferrari 812 Competizione and Competizione A are powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine. It now produces 819 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 692 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine redlines at 9,500 rpm, making it the highest-revving and the most powerful V12 production engine in a Ferrari to date.

The engine comes paired with a 7-speed F1 DCT automatic gearbox. Both models are capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and have a claimed top speed of 340 km/h.
