Experienced the Mercedes EQS as a taxi: My take on ride comfort & space

The taxi driver of the EQS was also confirming 600-650 km as the real world range including highway driving.

BHPian 14000rpm recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Happened to get a EQS taxi recently and I must say, it was one of the most comfortable rides I've had. Amazing leg space and excellent under thigh support. Lack of under thigh support has been my biggest grouse with most EVs including the crossovers.

The ride had pretty much zero road/wind noise.

This is the 2nd time in my life that I've ever ridden in the back seat of a S and I've been thoroughly delighted both the times.

I've heard of real world range of close to 600 kms which doesnt sound like a deal breaker or something to ponder on the range anxiety. .

The taxi driver of the EQS was also confirming 600-650 as the real world range including highway driving.

However, he did confirm one thing - the prices of used EQS & EQEs are plummeting big time.

Per Mercedes, the next gen EQS would ditch the jelly bean styling and go for the same as next Gen S Class ICE. Guess it would be wise to wait. However, it is atleast 2-3 yrs away.
