An emotional farewell to my Swift Dzire after 16 years & 1L km

Major update

Sold it to a fellow BHPian.

I finally got my 2010 Honda City from Delhi to Hyderabad, and since I stay alone here, there was absolutely no need for 2 cars. With a heavy heart I got around to selling the Dzire.

I got it evaluated from Cars24 and Spinny, and then also posted on Olx, FB Marketplace, TeamBHP classifieds and my office mailing list.

The evaluation done by both Cars24 and Spinny was really comprehensive. I was quite amazed at the details looked at by them, but the offers from them were slightly below my expectation.

I received many many queries on Olx and FB, but I was not keen on selling it there due to the hassle of dealing with cheap offers, talking to so many people, and then ensuring ownership transfer. A few people from my office were interested and I was in conversation with them, until someone from TeamBHP classifieds approached me. I closed the deal with him at just ~10% more than what Cars24 offered, but I was happy that the car was going to someone who will take care of it!

So, within a week of the posting the ad, the car was gone. It was really a bittersweet moment for me!
