Eicher launches Pro 8031XM, displays Pro 6025T at EXCON 2015

Eicher Trucks & Buses expanded its product portfolio with the launch and display of new mining and construction trucks at the ongoing EXCON 2015. The company has launched the Pro 8031XM 8x4 tipper and displayed the Pro 6025T 6x4 box body and RMC trucks.

The Pro 8031XM 8x4 tipper is built in collaboration with Volvo Group. It uses a VEDX8 7.7-litre engine that delivers 330 HP, and 1,200 Nm of torque @ 1,200-1,650 rpm. It is available with rock body and box body options and is suitable for mining applications, for flat roads or gradients and long leads or short leads. Eicher claims that the truck is compliant to all twenty safety features as recommended by Directorate General of mines safety, through standard and optional fitments.

Eicher also showcased the Pro 6025T 6x4 box body tipper and RMC trucks. The former is designed for applications like road construction, infrastructure projects and port transportation. It is powered by a VEDX8 7.7-litre diesel engine that develops 220 HP. The Pro 6025T RMC is powered by a VEDX5 5-litre diesel engine that puts out 210 HP.

The Eicher Pro 8031XM and Pro 6025T come with features like fuel coaching and vehicle telematics.
