Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono launched at Rs 16.50 lakh

Ducati will commence deliveries of the Hypermotard 698 Mono in India by the end of July.

Ducati has announced the launch of the Hypermotard 698 Mono in India. The supermoto bike is priced at Rs 16.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Hypremotard 698 Mono is powered by a 659cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 77.5 BHP @ 9,750 rpm and 63 Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip-and-assist clutch. Customers can also spec their bikes with a quickshifter.

The Hypermotard is based on a steel trellis frame suspended by an adjustable Marzocchi USD fork at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by a 330 mm disc at the front and a 245 mm disc at the rear.

The Hypermotard 698 Mono comes with a 3.8-inch digital instrument console, three power modes, four ride modes and rider assistance systems like cornering ABS, traction control and wheelie control.

Ducati will commence deliveries of the Hypermotard 698 Mono in India by the end of July.
