Datsun GO+ launched in India at Rs. 3.79 lakh

Datsun, the budget brand of Nissan, has launched the GO+ in India at prices starting from Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The GO+ is based on the GO hatchback which was launched in March 2014. It measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width and 1,485 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm.

The interior of the GO+ features seven seats. The dashboard and equipment levels are similar to the GO hatchback. The MPV is available in four trim levels - D, D1, A and T. Features in the top-of-the-line T variant include air-conditioning, mobile docking unit with Aux-in and USB charging facility, front power windows, two speakers and follow-me-home headlamps. Instrumentation consists of an analogue speedometer with shift indicators and an MID that shows a digital tachometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter, distance to empty counter and average and real-time fuel efficiency data. The car has a boot space of 48 litres, which can be increased to 347 litres by folding the third row of seats down. 

The GO+ is powered by the same engine as the GO - a 1,198 cc, 3-cylinder, petrol that puts out 67 bhp @ 5000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car rides on 13-inch steel wheels shod with 155/70 R13 tubeless tyres.

The GO+ is available in five body colours - ruby, gold, white, silver and grey.
