Covid-19: Tata Group pledges Rs. 1,500 crore

Tata Sons has pledged Rs. 1,000 crore, while Tata Trusts announced an additional Rs. 500 crore for the fight against Covid-19.

It has been reported that Tata is also planning to start manufacturing ventilators in India.

Among other Indian carmakers, Mahindra is developing an affordable ventilator. The company will also produce face shields.

Maruti Suzuki is also manufacturing ventilators in collaboration with AgVa Healthcare. It will also produce masks and protective gear for healthcare workers.
