The Tesseract gets first-in-segment dual radars and front and rear cameras.

Ultraviolette has launched its first electric scooter in the Indian market. It’s called the Tesseract, and it costs Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), but the first 10,000 customers will be offered a discounted price of Rs 1.20 lakh.

The Ultraviolette Tesseract has a futuristic design. The sporty front apron houses a dual-LED projector headlamp with striking LED DRLs. It has a flat footboard, a stepped seat, and underseat storage capacity of 34 litres.

The Tesseract is powered by a 20.1 BHP electric motor, which enables the e-scooter to sprint from 0-60 km/h in 2.9 seconds. There are three battery options on offer: 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh, offering a maximum range of up to 261 km.

The Tessaract e-scooter is loaded with tech. It comes with first-in-segment dual radars, front and rear cameras for blind spot detection, collision alert, overtake alert and a large touchscreen instrument console with Violette AI connectivity.

The e-scooter has disc brakes at both ends supported by dual-channel ABS. It also has features like traction control, dynamic stability control, cruise control, keyless access, park assist, hill hold, and navigation.
