Citroen Basalt SUV coupe interior teased ahead of debut

The Citroen Basalt will rival the Tata Curvv SUV coupe.

Citroen has released a new teaser of the Basalt SUV coupe. It will make its public debut on August 2, 2024.

The latest teaser provides a glimpse of the Basalt’s interior, which is expected to be similar to the C3 Aircross. It will get a floating touchscreen infotainment system and headrest side support. The Basalt is also likely to get central armrests in the front and rear with cupholders and a phone holder for added convenience.

The teaser also reveals some exterior details of the Basalt. While the front fascia looks similar to the C3 Aircross with its split grille and LED DRLs, the Basalt has squarish wheel arches and of course, a coupe-like roofline.

The Basalt SUV coupe is expected to be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. It will compete with the Tata Curvv in the Indian market.
