Checked out the 2023 Seltos & Honda Elevate: 10 key comparo points

The Seltos looks and feels 4-5 years ahead as compared to Elevate

Checked out the Elevate ZX MT at Ring road Honda along with New Seltos HTX MT at Lohia Kia New Delhi (Both showrooms opposite each other):

• Rear seats definitely felt cramped in comparison to the City or even for that matter Seltos too. This car is strictly for 4 people. (I'm a big guy ht 5'11 and weighing over 110 kgs)
• Boot is spacious & sufficient; you won't feel the need for space there.
• Touchscreen is good, but Seltos has much better capacitive touch and resolution.
• It is for people who want a simply designed Honda SUV with basic safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, etc.
• Seltos looks and feels 4-5 years ahead as compared to Elevate, I'm comparing Seltos HTX MT and Elevate ZX MT which will be equivalent variants to each other in terms of pricing (except for camera based ADAS)
• The tan color interior is not bright but dull in feel and look. Beige colored interiors in tech line of Seltos look better.
• Elevate will definitely age well than Seltos this is for sure.
• City is much better product overall and will remain flagship of Honda.
• Seltos feels like a car worth 2 spending million on it, while sitting in front or rear.
• Elevate should close prices max at 14.5 for ZX CVT else it will be tough for Honda.

I had pre-booked Elevate ZX MT during their unofficial booking period in June only.

SA told me he can deliver the car by 5th of September from first lot and said pricing will be on par with City.

Now with all this I'm inclined towards Seltos.

Just waiting for the Elevate prices. Fingers crossed.
