BS6 Skoda Kodiaq facelift to be launched by the end of 2021

The refreshed Kodiaq is expected to be powered by the same BS6-compliant 2.0-litre, 187 BHP TSI petrol unit that does duty in the Octavia and Superb. It will be mated to the same 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, but will get an all-wheel-drive system.

Skoda is planning to launch the refreshed Kodiaq in India in the fourth quarter of the calendar year 2021.

The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq facelift was unveiled in April this year. It gets a larger radiator grille, tweaked LED headlamps and LED tail lights, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler with winglets on the sides of the rear windshield and restyled alloy wheels.

On the inside, the car gets newly designed leather-wrapped, electrically adjustable seats with ventilation and massage functions, a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit, a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with connected car technology, LED ambient lighting and a multi-function two-spoke steering wheel among other features. The 2021 Kodiaq also comes with 2 additional speakers positioned on the front doors. While the dashboard design has been carried over from the outgoing car, it gets contrast stitching and new textures and patterns.
