BS6-compliant BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS spied in India

Updated versions of the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS have been spotted testing in India. Both bikes will get BS6-compliant engines.

The spy images suggest that in addition to updated engines, both bikes are likely to receive some changes including a new LED headlight and redesigned bodywork.

The test bikes have an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The 5-spoke alloy wheels look similar to those offered on the current models.

At present, the G 310 R and G 310 GS are powered by a 313cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It produces 33.53 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm @ 7,500 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
