Bentley Bentayga India launch scheduled for April 22

The Bentley Bentayga was unveiled in September 2015. Now, the company has announced that it will launch the SUV in India on April 22, 2016. 

Based on the MLB-Evo platform, the Bentayga is the only SUV in Bentley line-up. The company claims that it is the fastest SUV in the world.

The car features all the signature Bentley design elements such as the four round LED headlamps, a matrix front grille, B-shaped side vents, dual tail pipes and roof integrated spoiler. The Bentayga's dashboard holds a Breitling Tourbillon clock, which is priced at Rs. 1 crore.

The Bentayga is powered by a 6.0-litre, W12 engine producing 600 BHP and 900 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Bookings for the Bentayga were opened in December 2015, and the first batch of 20 cars for India is reported to have already been sold out.
