Benelli TNT 600i now comes with ABS, priced at Rs. 6.53 lakh

Benelli has added Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option on its most popular bike in India, the TNT 600i. This has increased prices of the Benelli naked bike by around Rs. 40,000, as the TNT 600i ABS variant is now priced at Rs. 6.53 lakh. Despite this price rise, the TNT 600i is still the most affordable inline four-cylinder bike available in India.

The primary reason for this relatively lower price tag of the TNT 600i is the fact that Benelli assembles it locally at their factory in Wai, near Pune, after it is imported in India as a CKD unit.

Benelli has confirmed that the company plans to make ABS standard across its entire range of products in India. As a result, several new updates will be rolled out in a phased manner in the near future.

Save for the ABS, there have been no specification changes on the Benelli 600i. It is thus powered by a 600cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that develops 84 BHP @ 11,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 54.6 Nm @ 10,500 rpm.

The Benelli TNT 600i ABS is expected to be available in the company's dealerships across India from the end of this week.
