Bajaj to unveil India's first-ever CNG-powered bike on July 5

Bajaj Auto's first CNG-powered bike is rumoured to be called Bruzer.

Bajaj Auto has announced that India’s first-ever CNG-powered motorcycle will be unveiled on July 5, 2024. The bike will be showcased in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways.

Bajaj has been working on the CNG bike, rumoured to be called ‘Bruzer’, for quite some time. It was initially scheduled to debut this month.

The Bajaj CNG bike is likely to be based on a double cradle frame and could be powered by a ‘sloper engine’. While the exact technical details of the engine are yet to be revealed, its performance is expected to be comparable to that of a conventional 110-150cc engine.

The CNG bike has been designed to cater to the requirements of cost-conscious buyers. Bajaj claims that it should be able to cut down on operating and fuel costs by up to 50-65%.
