Bajaj launches Platina Comfortec at Rs. 43,241

Bajaj Auto has silently launched the new Platina Comfortec at prices starting from Rs. 43,241 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Platina will be offered in two variants: Kick-start and Self-start. It will be available in three colours: Red, Black and Blue.

The Comfortec is an update to the Platina ES which was launched last year. The bike gets a new suspension system which is claimed to deliver a comfortable ride with 20 percent fewer jerks on uneven roads. Additionally, a 'Soft Spring' seat and rubber foot pads further help in absorbing bumps and jerks.

The Bajaj Platina Comfortec is powered by a 102 cc DTS-i engine that develops around 8 BHP and 8.6 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a four-speed transmission. Bajaj also claims that the engine is tuned to deliver a fuel economy of 104 kmpl.
