Bajaj Avenger Street 160 ABS launched at Rs. 82,253

Bajaj has launched the Avenger Street with a new 160cc engine. It is priced at Rs. 82,253 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is based on a diamond type frame. It measures 2,210 mm in length, 806 mm in width, 1,070 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,480 mm. The bike weighs 150 kg (kerb weight) and comes with a 13-litre fuel tank.

The Avenger Street 160 has an oval headlamp with LED daytime running lights and a short fairing on top. The cruiser has a low-slung seat with a rubberized rear grab handle and a single side-mounted exhaust. It gets 17-inch and 15-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear respectively. It is available in two colour options - Spicy Red and Ebony Black.

The Avenger Street 160 is powered by a 160.4cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.8 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 13.5 Nm of torque @ 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike rides on telescopic fork suspension at the front and gets twin shock absorbers at the rear. It comes equipped with a 260 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear with single-channel ABS.
