4th-gen Hyundai Tucson interior spied

A spy image revealing the interior of the fourth generation Hyundai Tucson has surfaced online.

The new Tucson is expected to come with a 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel. It has a digital instrument cluster and a centre console similar to the Chinese-spec Hyundai Creta. The centre console has a gloss black finish. Two air-conditioning vents are positioned just above the touchscreen infotainment head-unit. The SUV is likely to be offered in five and seven seat configurations.

On the outside, the new Tucson is expected to get a large grille with slim LED daytime running lights on either side, while the main headlamp clusters will be positioned lower down. The SUV also has chrome trim around the windows, which extends onto the ORVM stalks.

The current generation Tucson comes with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 153 BHP @ 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm @ 4,000 rpm and a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel unit that produces 182 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm @ 1,750-2,750 rpm. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
