2021 Skoda Kodiaq: New details revealed ahead of unveil

The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq will be unveiled on April 13, 2021. Ahead of its global premiere, the company has revealed fresh details via a new video teaser.

Skoda Auto is all set to unveil its 2021 Kodiaq SUV on April 13, 2021. Ahead of its world premiere, the company has released a new teaser, which reveals a few new details of the upcoming model.

As seen from the teaser, the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq SUV now features a more upright and hexagonal front grille. The LED headlamps on either side are now slimmer with integrated LED DRLs. Skoda has also updated the C-shaped LED tail lights on the new Kodiaq, which now feature crystalline structures, adding to its overall appeal.

The interior of the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq is also expected to get subtle updates and revisions. It will come with an optional 7-seat configuration, while also receiving a number of new features and equipment as well.

Powering the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 187 BHP and 320 Nm. It will be mated to a standard seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox, powering all-four-wheels.

Skoda could also introduce a plug-in hybrid version of the new Kodiaq, as well as a performance-oriented ‘RS’ version at a slightly later stage.

The Skoda Kodiaq was first introduced in 2016, and has registered sales of over 6 lakh units globally. It is said to be one of the most successful SUV models for the brand and is now currently on sale in 60 countries across the globe.
