VW Polo ALLSTAR revealed on website before official launch

We had earlier reported that Volkswagen will soon be launching the Polo ALLSTAR edition in India. Though no official announcement about the launch date has been made yet, the Polo ALLSTAR has appeared on Volkswagen India's website, pointing towards a nearing launch. The website has also revealed various features that will be added to the ALLSTAR model.

Noticeable changes on the outside include new 15-inch alloy wheels and ALLSTAR badging on the B-pillars. On the inside, the Polo ALLSTAR gets new seat upholstery with a contrasting stripe in the centre, front armrest, rear AC vents, scuff plates with ALLSTAR branding, and aluminium pedals. It will likely carry forward all features from the regular Polo Highline trim.

There won't be any mechanical changes in the Polo ALLSTAR. Hence, it will likely be powered by the same 1.2-litre MPi petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel engines that are equipped in the regular Polo. Both these engines are expected to be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Polo ALLSTAR will be available in the Blue Silk colour which was recently introduced in the Ameo compact sedan. Additionally, Flash Red, Candy White, Toffee Brown and Reflex Silver will also be available with the new Polo.
