Tata Nexon.ev awarded 5-stars by Bharat NCAP

The rating applies for both MR and LR variants of the Nexon.ev.

The Tata Nexon.ev has been awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP. The electric SUV scored 29.86 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 44.95 points out of 49 for child occupant safety.

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Nexon.ev offered good protection to the head and neck of the driver and passenger. The driver’s chest showed adequate protection, while the passenger’s chest showed good protection. The protection offered to the lower body was good except for the driver’s legs, which showed adequate protection.

In the side movable deformable barrier test, the head, neck and torso of the front occupants showed good protection, except for the chest area, which showed adequate protection. The car offered good protection in the side pole impact test.

The Nexon.ev scored a dynamic score of 23.95 out of 24 for child occupant protection. Its CRS installation score was 12/12, and the vehicle assessment score was 9/13.
