Suzuki Gixxer gets new dual-tone colour schemes

Suzuki has introduced two new dual-tone colour schemes for the Gixxer. The motorcycle will now also be available in Metallic Triton Blue with Pearl Mirage White (BAQ) and Candy Antares Red with Glass Sparkle Black (APS). Suzuki claims that these schemes have been inspired by its traditional racing colours.

The side frames of the bike will be colour-coordinated with its new dual-tone schemes and it gets clear lens turn indicators.

The Gixxer is also available in monotone colour options - Metallic Oort Grey, Candy Antares Red, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue.

There are no mechanical changes to the Gixxer. The bike is powered by a 155cc, carburetted, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 14.6 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and features Suzuko Eco Performance (SEP) technology.

The Gixxer has a telescopic fork front suspension and a monoshock at the rear. Stopping power is provided by a single disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. Other features include 17-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, dual muffler, LED tail lamp, electric start, maintenance-free battery and digital instrument cluster.

The Gixxer is priced at Rs. 77,166. (ex-showroom, Delhi).
