Skoda Octavia RS 245 confirmed for India

Skoda has released a teaser video confirming that the Octavia RS 245 will be launched in India. The car will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU). 200 units have already been shipped and are on their way to India.

The Octavia RS 245 is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 241 BHP @ 5,000-6,700 rpm and 370 Nm of torque @ 1,600-4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

The Octavia RS 245 is expected to get a gloss black grille with the vRS logo, smoked headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels and sports suspension. On the inside, the car is likely to get a 9.2-inch infotainment system with navigation, ambient lighting and electrically adjustable seats with memory function.
