Fisker willing to sell off its remaining EVs for $14,000

The leasing company will buy all ready-for-sale models and can't re-sell them for the first 12 months

According to media reports, EV maker Fisker which recently filed for bankruptcy has sought approval from the Delaware Court Judge to sell off the remaining inventory of its all-electric Ocean SUV.

Reports suggest that a New York-based vehicle leasing company is willing to buy off all the remaining 3,231 units of Fisker Ocean SUV for a total sum of $46.25 million - working out to $14,000 per vehicle. This is a massive fall from the SUV's starting price of $70,000 at the time of launch.

As per reports, the New York-based leasing company mainly offers vehicles to ride-hail drivers in the New York city areas. The leasing company though has agreed to wait till all the open recalls on the Fisker Ocean EV are addressed

The leasing company will buy all ready-for-sale models and can't re-sell them for the first 12 months. Reports state that the leasing company will pay $3,200 for previously-titled vehicles, $16,500 for models deemed "good working order" and $2,500 for the damaged ones.
