Skoda Kamiq first design sketches out

Last week, Skoda announced the name of its upcoming compact SUV. The first design sketches of the upcoming compact SUV, called the Kamiq, have been released.

The Skoda Kamiq features a wide grille with vertical slats. It is flanked by two-part LED headlamps with LED DRL strips positioned above the main headlights. The SUV is expected to get dynamic turn signals at the front and the rear. A wide air dam stretches across the front bumper, which also has an integrated scuff plate.

The Kamiq has flared wheel arches and a prominent feature line running along sides. It has a sloping roofline and chrome trim along the lower edge of the window line. The car also has a pair of roof rails. The SUV has a raked rear windshield and boomerang-shaped tail lamps with 'Skoda' lettering in the centre. A pair of reflector strips are positioned just below the rear lights.

The Skoda Kamiq is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, which will be held from March 5-17, 2019.
