2025 Kia EV6 GT facelift spied ahead of global debut

The EV6 GT will also support up to 350 kW DC fast charging, allowing for 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes.

Kia unveiled the 2025 EV6 facelift earlier this year. The updated Kia EV6 features a bunch of upgrades, both to its exterior and interiors. Now, the South Korean carmaker is said to be testing its range-topping iteration, the EV6 GT.

Ahead of its global debut, the 2025 Kia EV6 GT has been spotted undergoing testing in Germany. The upcoming model will get all the upgrades as the standard model, including the updated powertrain. However, being a performance version, the EV6 GT will also get sportier front and rear bumpers, light graphics, larger wheels with a new design, contrasting colour options, and slightly revised interior trim options.

Kia is offering the 2025 EV6 with a larger 84 kWh battery pack as standard. This is paired with either single or dual electric motors, which on the regular trims produce up to 320 BHP. Reports though suggest that the upcoming Kia EV6 GT variant will have the same battery specifications but produce a massive 585 BHP from its dual electric motor setup.

The EV6 GT will also support up to 350 kW DC fast charging, allowing for 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes. Kia though, is yet to confirm the expected driving range on the sportier EV6 GT model.
